The strategic alliance with IHG in 2008 came at an important point in our growth strategy. It created a strong platform to position Orange Lake Resorts to a new generation of traveler. We now offer more flexibility and access for members to IHG properties around the world. We do this through shared marketing opportunities for the Holiday Inn Club Vacations brand and its membership product Holiday Inn Club.
The acquisition of Silverleaf Resorts in 2015 added a second brand under our parent company, Orange Lake Holdings. The two brands represent 26 resorts and 7,200 villas.
The purchase was a major milestone in the company's growth strategy. We will continue to expand westward into premier vacation destinations and key regional markets. Throughout our history, we have consistently delivered fun and memorable vacation experiences. Today, more than 320,000 owners call our resorts home.
