Brian manages the legal affairs of Orange Lake Resorts and its growing number of properties and condominium associations. Leveraging more than 20 years experience acquiring and managing developments of up to 4,500 units, he oversees the planning, development, construction and ongoing renovation activities of our entire resort portfolio.
He began practicing in business law in the fields of timeshare, hospitality planning and development with the national law firm Baker & Hostetler. In 1990, Brian joined the national law firm Foley & Lardner for a brief stint before returning two years later to Baker & Hostetler. There, his emphasis returned to resort development, land use and general business related to resort operations and management. In this capacity, he provided legal services to Orange Lake Country Club, Inc. and its affiliates prior to joining the Orange Lake Resorts management team in 1995.
A member of the Florida and Orange County Bar Associations, as well as the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Brian has published numerous articles on land use and environmental law. He has also lectured on subjects such as endangered species and environmental contamination audits, plus various condominium association management topics at several national conferences.
